1. Q: What are the modes of payment accepted?
A: We are pleased to present you with 2 modes of payment, bank transfer or cheque.
(a) Bank Transfer:(i) Please pay the registration fee to UOB Campus Account Number: 324-302-037-7 (Bukit Panjang branch, code 012).
(ii) Please make sure the amount paid is the EXACT amount. No change will be given for excess payment.
(iii) Upon making an ATM transfer, please remember to keep a copy of the receipt for identification purposes, and send a scanned copy to our e-mail - legsandpaddles09@gmail.com. For Internet Banking transfer, please print a copy of the transfer confirmation, and send it to our e-mail as well.
(b) Cheque:
(i) Please DO NOT mail a Cash Cheque.
(ii) Please ensure your Cheque is made payable to: NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE
(iii) Include your name, NRIC/FIN Number, contact number, and indicate "Registration for LNP" at the back of your Cheque. If you signed up for the 'Team' Category, please indicate your team members' names and NRIC numbers as well.

2. Q: What kind of kayaks and paddles will we be using for Legs and Paddles 2009?
A: For the purposes of the race, we will be using single slaloms for Mens/Womens Single race and LNP challenge race, as well as double slaloms for Mixed/Mens/Womens Doubles race, as well as for our Team Relay race. As for paddles, we will be using Symmetrical, Spoon-bladed paddles.
3. Q: Would there be any left-handed paddles for left-handed participants?
A: There will be left-handed paddles for participants available on race day. However, the LNP09 organising committee cannot guarantee that there will be enough left-handed paddles for all participant, so there might be a possibility that they will have to use a right-handed paddle.
4. Q: Can I join Legs and Paddles 2009 if I do not have a Kayak 1-Star certification?
A: No, you will not be able to join if you do not possess the Kayak 1-Star certification. All paddlers are required to possess at least a Kayak 1-Star certification. However, if you are joining the event as a runner as part of our Team Relay or the LNP Run catergories, you are not required to possess Kayak 1-Star certification.
5. Q: Are spray skirts provided for the race?
A: No, spray skirts will not be provided for the race. However, if the participants insist of using a spray skirt, the paricipant can bring his personal spray skirt for his own use. However, the Legs and Paddles 2009 organising committee will not be responsible for any damages or loss of the spray skirt.
6. Q: What is the estimated time that the 3km kayaking course take?
A: The 3km kayaking course should take around 45minutes to complete.
7. Q: When can I get my Kayak 1-Star Certification?
A: NUS Kayak Club organizes 1-Star Certification courses through our coaches. Please visit nuscanoeing.wordpress.com for more details. You may also take your 1-Star Certification through other agencies likes SCF, Paddle Culture and WaterVenture.
